Luiza Moraes is a Brazilian artist and ritualist currently based in the Chicagoland area. With an extensively interdisciplinary trajectory, she has studied and worked with contemporary dance, performance art, Tarot, History, the Feldenkrais methos, traditional crafts and Earth-honoring ritual. Her work stems largely from an interest in movement, presence and ways of being in the world. Working from a decolonial queer feminist worldview, she is interested in art-making and teaching as forms of resistance and emancipation. 

She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History from UFRGS (Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul), and a Master's degree in Dance and Performance from the University Paris8 and CNDC/Angers. She is a Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner by the Feldenkrais Institut Wien and a practitioner-in-training of Ancestral Lineage Healing and Earth Reconnection Ritual with Ancestral Medicine.
